While much of my community work is in offering creative workshops, I also offer editing and consulting services to help you with your own creative projects! I have over a decade of experience helping writers of all ages develop their creative voices and their work with a caring and supportive approach. I love helping people learn more about their creative processes to best tell their stories.
I am currently taking on clients ages 16 and up for my services, although if your child would like support honing and publishing their work, I am happy to work with younger clients upon request. Since I write across a variety of genres, I am able to work with folks who are writing poetry, creative nonfiction, short stories, novels and more, with a special place in my heart for horror, speculative fiction and fantasy. If you are working on a comic, that is fantastic. I would love to work with you!
Services Offered

- Editing and Revision Support for flash fiction, short stories or nonfiction between 1,000-5,000 words ($100-$150)
- Includes line edits and/or comments and suggestions on work as well as a summary letter of thoughts about the strengths of the piece(s) and suggestions for growth based on your questions and goals for the piece(s). Recommended additional readings/media are also included.
- Editing and Revision Support for flash fiction, short stories or nonfiction 10,000 words or longer ($300)
- Includes line edits and/or comments and suggestions on work as well as a summary letter of thoughts about the strengths of the piece(s) and suggestions for growth based on your questions and goals for the piece(s). Recommended additional readings/media are also included.
- Editing and Revision Support for manuscripts 30,000-50,000 words ($500)
- Includes line edits and/or comments and suggestions on work as well as a summary letter of thoughts and general reactions to the manuscript and areas of growth related to character development, storytelling pacing, and more based on your questions and goals for the manuscript. Recommended additional readings/media are also included to aid the development of the story.
- Writing Mentorship Consultations ($50/hr for one a Zoom/virtual consult or $200 for five consultations)
- Discussion of your writing goals and challenges you are facing
- Answer questions about publishing and the variety of ways to share your work
- Talk through ideas and areas of focus for your work
